I entered private practice as a criminal defense attorney in 2007 after serving for almost 10 years as an assistant district attorney in Bexar County. As a prosecutor, I worked under two successive district attorney administrations, trying felony, misdemeanor and juvenile matters.

As a result of my experience as a prosecutor, I understand how the government investigates, prepares and tries criminal cases. As a criminal defense lawyer, I use that knowledge to protect my clients’ rights and help them fight to avoid or reduce serious criminal penalties.
